FAQ
My Jd-Valve loses air on connector (3)

What can I do?

If the air leaks out of (3) on the valve, it is in 95% the case, that it is a leakage of the pistons O-ring in one or even more of the cylinders. The leakage may happen in any position of the piston. Nearly all gear manufacturers have sometimes these problems.

To check if this is true, you should interrupt the air flow to the cylinders by closing (flat pliers) one of the lines on outputs (2) of the valve.

  • If still air is leaking out of (3), then it’s the valve, if not, you should check your cylinders (Piston O-ring).
  • In any case, I therefore recommend to insert an air filter in front of the system / the valves:  Service / Accessories / Pneumatic accessory list, order no.: Z-071.
  • The dirt mostly comes out of aluminium tanks and the pilling compressors.
  • During the filling process dirt could also come into the system
